According to the legal community on the 14th, the Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Choi Hyung-won) summoned Mr. A, a former president of a power-related public enterprise under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, as a witness and is conducting an investigation.
Mr. A served as the president of a power-related public enterprise under the ministry from 2014 until the Moon Jae-in administration began in 2017.
