Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Promotes Innovation Partnership Support Project
Support for Innovation in Products, Processes, Organizations, and ESG Areas for Small and Medium Enterprises
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 13th that it will promote the '2022 YGPA Innovation Partnership Support Project' to strengthen corporate competitiveness and spread a culture of mutual growth through innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at Yeosu Gwangyang Port.
The Innovation Partnership Support Project is a mutual growth initiative promoted to support comprehensive innovation of SMEs by recruiting eligible SMEs and working with corporate innovation consulting specialists to assist in product, process, organizational areas, as well as the recently emerging corporate management issue of ESG.
The support project will proceed in a two-track manner, including management consulting for corporate innovation by specialized institutions and direct support tailored to corporate needs. To this end, the authority plans to recruit a total of seven companies, investing a budget of 8.5 million KRW per company, totaling 60 million KRW.
The authority plans to accept applications for two weeks starting from April 13 and select participating companies through an appropriateness evaluation.

President Park Seong-hyun said, “The Innovation Partnership Support Project is expected to greatly help strengthen corporate competitiveness by supporting various innovation activities for SMEs,” and added, “We will continue to expand projects to spread a culture of mutual growth at Yeosu Gwangyang Port and enhance the competitiveness of SMEs.”
