‘I Will Do Better!’ Kim Sun-ho, Gure-gun Governor Preliminary Candidate, Announces Re-election Bid at Press Conference

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Mi-seok] Kim Sun-ho, a preliminary candidate for the mayor of Gurye-gun from the Democratic Party of Korea, held a press conference on the 13th at the Gurye-eup Memorial Park to announce his re-election bid.

After paying respects at the Memorial Tower, Candidate Kim officially declared his candidacy in the presence of journalists and supporters.

Candidate Kim, who said, "I was born into a poor family, but thanks to the love of the residents, I have come this far," expressed his determination for re-election, asking, "Please allow me to work once more."

Candidate Kim emphasized that he is ready for a "Dignified Gurye! Strong Gurye!" and highlighted that through the seven years of the elected 7th term, he has developed strong execution skills and turned crises into opportunities as mayor, drawing nationwide attention to Gurye's transformation.

As his vision for Gurye's future, Candidate Kim pledged ▲ Gurye where young people return ▲ an eco-friendly organic farming city ▲ establishment of a healing and wellness cluster ▲ full support for commercial district recovery ▲ and the prosperity of an innovative Gurye tourism industry.

Meanwhile, Candidate Kim Sun-ho stated, "I will not engage in negativity. I will not slander my opponents. I will run the election solely based on vision and policies. I will surely repay with a strong Gurye united in harmony."

He continued, "Please give me one more chance to fully demonstrate my capabilities, as I, Kim Sun-ho, have been proven by my skills," appealing for support.

Kim Sun-ho, the preliminary candidate for mayor of Gurye-gun, is a native of Gurye, served as a clerk at the Gurye County Office, was vice chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea's Central Policy Committee, and was elected as the 43rd mayor of Gurye-gun in the 2018 local elections.
