Gwangju Veterans Office Holds 'Workshop to Strengthen Employment Competencies of Female Veterans'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center held a regular 'Employment Competency Enhancement Workshop' online on the 13th at Yang Han-muk Room on the 1st floor of the Government Gwangju Regional Joint Office Building for veterans who served in the military for more than 5 years.
The online workshop mainly focused on enhancing employment competencies for female veterans, featuring ▲a guest mentor's "Image Making" session ▲a special lecture on job-seeking experiences by a female mentor working as a driving public official ▲an overview of the Veterans Support Center and guidance on support programs.
A participant in the workshop said that the job-seeking cases of senior female veterans and the image-making lecture at the company after employment were essential content for members re-entering society, especially considering the many career interruption factors faced by female veterans.
