Samsung Korea Short-Term Bond Fund Recognized as 'Best Korean Bond Fund'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Samsung Asset Management announced on the 13th that the 'Samsung Korea Short-Term Bond Fund' was selected as the 'Best Korean Bond Fund' at the '2022 Morningstar Fund Awards' presented by the global independent investment research firm Morningstar.
The Morningstar Fund Awards are selected based on quantitative methods as a foundation, supplemented by qualitative judgments. For category awards, funds that have been managed for at least five years are evaluated, with weighted scores given to 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year performance and risk, and the fund with the highest score is selected.
The Samsung Korea Short-Term Bond Fund is composed of a stable portfolio mainly consisting of high-grade public bonds, bank bonds, and corporate bonds, and seeks relatively high returns under low risk through flexible duration adjustment.
