Yeosu Gwangyang Port Corporation Wins Korea Human Resources Development Grand Prize
The Top Award in This Field Presented to Public Sector, Corporations, and Educational Institutions
Highly Praised for Realizing Human Resource Development
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 12th that it has won the '2022 Korea Human Resource Development Award Public Sector Grand Prize.'
The Korea Human Resource Development Award is the only HRD awards ceremony in Korea hosted by the Korea HRD Association, recognizing public sectors, companies, and educational institutions that have contributed to the development and expansion of human resource development. It has a tradition of 28 years this year.
The authority was highly evaluated for implementing human resource development through ▲full-scale introduction of video education systems ▲activation of unstructured and non-face-to-face learning ▲customized education reflecting organizational and individual needs to respond to the HRD paradigm shift in the post-COVID-19 era.
The authority explained that it was the only recipient among port-related companies to be listed as an awardee.
President Park Seong-hyun said, "Taking this opportunity of winning the Korea Human Resource Development Grand Prize, we will focus more on nurturing port logistics professionals to leap forward as a smart integrated port leading future competitiveness."
