Gwangju Dong-gu 'Asia Food Culture District Workshop' Successfully Concluded
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 12th that it successfully held the first expert invitation workshop for the creation of a specialized commercial district in the Asia Food Culture District, titled ‘Delicious Street - with Star Chef Kang Leo.’
This workshop was the first lecture focused on food, where Chef Kang Leo, a farming chef, shared ideas on revitalizing the Asia Food Culture District with food industry workers and culinary students.
Chef Kang said, “My cooking starts not in the kitchen but from the land,” emphasizing that his unique dishes are completed only when the food, made from ingredients he personally farmed across the country, is served in dishes he created himself. He urged participants to “constantly challenge themselves to discover their own differentiated startup content.”
