Coway Donates 42,000 Cosmetics to Underprivileged Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Coway announced on the 12th that it has delivered approximately 42,000 cosmetic products to underprivileged groups in Guro-gu, Seoul, to support the healthy living of local community neighbors during the changing seasons.
This sponsorship was carried out as part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. It aims to share the value of a healthy life with members of the local community in Guro-gu, Seoul, where Coway’s headquarters are located, and to fulfill social responsibility.
Coway donated about 420 million KRW worth of 42,000 cosmetic products to Guro-gu so that local residents can maintain skin health during the seasonal transition. These products will be delivered to the Guro-gu Food Bank Market Center, local welfare centers, and facilities for the disabled, supporting vulnerable groups experiencing economic difficulties.
A Coway representative said, “Through this sharing activity, we are honored to convey the importance of a healthy living environment, which Coway pursues, to marginalized neighbors and contribute to the local community. We will continue to do our best to improve living environment welfare in areas where help is needed and to develop together with society.”

Meanwhile, Coway has been leading the realization of social value through various activities, such as providing free air purifiers and maintenance services to vulnerable groups as part of the ‘Environmental Disease Prevention Project for Vulnerable Groups’ in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment since 2018, helping to improve the environment.
