Starting with this, they plan to continuously build and donate schools and further invest intensively in educational specialization to create the best educational environment.
The Handeul Elementary School and Attached Kindergarten, which began construction in February this year, will be built on Block 2, Lot 5 within the Handeul Urban Development Zone, where 4,805 households of Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio are located. It will have a total floor area of 18,102㎡, with one basement floor and five above-ground floors, consisting of 38 elementary school classes and 7 kindergarten classes. The school is scheduled to be completed in May 2023, in time for the complex’s completion in June 2023.
All classrooms are oriented southward, and a separate outdoor space for ecological learning has been created. A media space (multipurpose room) designed according to the future school concept will also be established, along with an open audiovisual room and multipurpose auditorium accessible to local residents. The school fence design will include murals with bright colors of flowers, rainbows, and animal patterns to stimulate children’s imagination.
For the safe commuting routes of children, smart crosswalk LED floor signals will be installed. LED lamps will be placed at the pedestrian waiting lines of crosswalks to enhance the safety of children’s commuting and the walking safety of vulnerable road users. Children can check signal information by looking at the floor, and the crosswalk signal colors will be easily recognizable even at night or on rainy days. The commuting route will apply the concept of ‘The Way to School,’ with various trees planted nearby and symbolic sculptures arranged.
The Handeul zone, where the complex is located, will have a one-stop school district allowing walking access to elementary, middle, and high schools. The complex plans to actively attract educational specialization services and prestigious academies.
