Hansung Cleantec Collaborates with Daeyang Enviro to Build Industrial Water Treatment Value Chain
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Hansung Cleantec, an ultrapure water and water treatment design, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, and Daeyang Enviro, a water treatment operation and maintenance (O&M) company, announced on the 12th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish an industrial water treatment value chain.
Hansung Cleantec is 100% owned by EN Corporation. Daeyang Enviro, established in 1991, is a specialized water treatment O&M company, and in December last year, EN Corporation acquired 80% of its shares.
The signing ceremony was hosted by EN Corporation, with representatives from each company and key stakeholders in attendance.
The agreement defined the roles and related matters of each company for building the industrial water treatment value chain. To create synergy, they agreed to mutually support business cooperation and professional personnel.
Hansung Cleantec expects to form a consortium for industrial EPC and O&M, securing a favorable position in related business bids. Daeyang Enviro will expand its business into the industrial water treatment market beyond public sector water treatment O&M, extending into the industrial O&M sector. EN Corporation, the largest shareholder of both Hansung Cleantec and Daeyang Enviro, will accelerate the establishment of an industrial water treatment platform.
