The relocation project of the Agricultural Technology Institute has been proceeding with procedures such as urban management plan decisions (changes) and preparation of implementation plans since the relocation site was confirmed in 2017 as the Sabalguk-myeon area in Sangju.
The basic and detailed design work for the new office will begin this month, and in the second half of the year, research plot construction is scheduled.
Accordingly, the Agricultural Technology Institute is actively promoting the relocation project by replacing the members of the relocation support team with the younger generation.
The relocation support team is organized with 26 specialized department members across 7 fields and plans to lead the planning and creation of workspaces from the perspective of users who directly use the facilities.
They intend to provide innovative ideas for space design suitable for future agricultural research and development and educational environments, and ensure practical and convenient implementation at the facility construction sites.
A member of the support team pledged, “I take great pride in participating in the expansion of facilities preparing for the future and contributing to the development of agriculture and rural areas in Gyeongbuk, and I will do my best to create convenient spaces.”
