Gwangju Economic Employment Promotion Agency 8th Director Na Seonghwa Retires
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Na Seong-hwa, the 8th chairman of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Economic Employment Promotion Agency, retired on the 8th.
Chairman Na, born in 1952, started as the head of sales at SK Gas and has served as CEO of Chungnam City Gas and Daehan City Gas. He was appointed chairman of the Economic Employment Promotion Agency in April 2019.
He stated, “Shortly after my inauguration, the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, and I was heartbroken to see many groups in the region, including small and medium-sized enterprises, small business owners, and job seekers, struggling. I always thought about how to alleviate those difficulties and promoted projects such as the Gwangju Public Delivery App, Yangdong Traditional Market Commercial Area Revitalization Project, Bitgoeul Small Business Owner Guardian, and various labor cost support projects.”
