Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Shop Donates 40 Million Won for Hearing Aids to the Hearing Impaired
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 7th that it will donate 40 million KRW in support funds for the purchase of hearing aids for the hearing impaired to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
The donated funds will be used to purchase hearing aids for 40 low-income hearing-impaired individuals residing in Gangnam-gu and Jung-gu in Seoul and Jung-gu in Incheon through the specialized welfare organization for the hearing impaired, "Sarangui Dalpaengi" (Love's Snail).
A Hyundai Department Store Duty Free official said, "We hope this can provide some help to the hearing impaired who are going through difficult daily lives due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," and added, "We plan to continue various social contribution activities for the underprivileged and marginalized groups."
