[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, ranked first in the ‘2021 Gwangju Metropolitan City Public Property Management Comprehensive Evaluation,’ being selected as the best institution for three consecutive years.
This year, Gwangsan-gu received incentives including a 28% attribution rate of public property sale proceeds and a public property management subsidy of 12 million KRW.
The evaluation, conducted to improve the efficiency of entrusted public property management, covered 14 items across six areas of public property management status: ▲prevention of unauthorized occupation ▲performance of actual condition surveys ▲leasing performance ▲imposition and collection of compensation fees ▲sales performance ▲system improvements.
The district has provided convenience for on-site visits and prevented omissions in lease contract renewals through the visiting public property field center.
Efforts across various aspects to ensure flawless public property management, such as achieving a 100% collection rate for lease fees and compensation fees and the highest sales performance, were highly evaluated.
A Gwangsan-gu official stated, “We will continue to do our best for systematic public property management operations.”
