Gochang-gun Accepts Applications for 'Outstanding Successor Agricultural Manager Project' Until the 22nd

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 6th that it is accepting applications for the "Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager Additional Support Project" until the 22nd to promote the entry of talented individuals into the agricultural sector and support their growth as future agricultural personnel.

The target for support under the Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager program is those who have been selected as successor agricultural managers and have been engaged in farming for more than five years (successor agricultural managers selected until 2017 are eligible to apply). Outstanding individuals are selected to receive additional support such as policy funds and management education.

Once selected as an Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager, they can receive up to 200 million KRW in loan limits, with a 5-year grace period and 10-year installment repayment at an annual interest rate of 1% (fixed rate), provided through the agricultural fund interest subsidy project.

Agricultural workers who meet the qualifications and requirements for the Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager support project can submit their application forms to the Gochang-gun Agricultural Technology Center by the application deadline.

Hyun Haeng-yeol, Director of the Gochang-gun Agricultural Technology Center, said, "We have created an opportunity to nurture professional farmers by selecting outstanding successor agricultural managers leading local agriculture and providing additional support such as policy funds and management education.
