Gwangju Nambu Fire Station - Bohae Brewery Launch Unique Campaign "Keep Fire Extinguishers Handy"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Nambu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 5th that it is conducting a unique fire prevention campaign in collaboration with the liquor manufacturer Bohae Brewery.
The campaign involves attaching promotional labels with the message "Keep a vehicle fire extinguisher" on bottles of a famous soju brand to encourage the installation of vehicle fire extinguishers.
Vehicle fire extinguishers are mandated to be installed in vehicles with seven or more seats according to the "Regulations on the Performance and Standards of Automobiles and Automobile Parts," but starting this December, the revised Article 11 of the "Firefighting Facilities Installation and Management Act" will require fire extinguishers to be installed in all vehicles, including those with five seats.
