Hyundai Mobis Donates Air-Purifying Plants to Elementary Schools
Hyundai Mobis employees donated air-purifying plants to elementary schools in Seoul and Yongin areas.
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Hyundai Mobis has delivered air-purifying plants grown directly by its employees to elementary schools in Seoul and Yongin, where its business sites are located.
According to Hyundai Mobis on the 5th, about 600 employees of the company have been growing air-purifying plants since early last month and delivered 1,250 pots to schools this time. They plan to deliver a similar amount in the second half of the year, donating a total of 2,500 pots within this year.

The employees choose up to two types among Table Palm, Yucca, and Golden Duranta to grow. The pots were made by recycling leftover fabric from disposable masks discarded at the factory and transparent PET bottles. Along with the donation of air-purifying plants, environmental education content will also be provided to each school to support students in receiving environmental classes.
