Fire at a Commercial Building in Okgye-myeon, Gangneung... Firefighters Extinguishing
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] At around 5:25 PM on the 3rd, a fire broke out at a commercial building in Okgye-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon Province, prompting firefighting authorities to initiate extinguishing operations.
Seventeen fire trucks and about 50 personnel were deployed to carry out the extinguishing efforts, but smoke generated from burning internal flammable materials is reported to be causing difficulties in putting out the fire.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
