Full Road Opening of 'Sansuguldari-Former Recycling Warehouse' in Dong-gu, Gwangju
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 3rd that the entire 477m road section from Sansu Underpass to Jeon Recycling Warehouse has been fully opened.
The 'Sansu Underpass~Jeon Recycling Warehouse Road' is a 477m long, 15m wide, three-lane road in both directions. It was a section that required improvement due to increased traffic from active urban development such as Pureungil Park, Doosan We’ve Apartments, and Green Rosebiang Apartments.
A project cost of 7.2 billion KRW was invested for this opening, resolving a long-standing wish of the residents.
An official from Dong-gu said, "This not only improves the traffic environment in the Sansu-dong area but also provides a safe walking environment for local residents using Pureungil Park."

Meanwhile, the road was partially opened in two phases, 202m in 2015 and 2019 respectively, and with the recent completion of the final 275m third phase, the entire 477m section has now been fully opened.
