Chonnam National University Hospital Donates 30 Million Won for Emergency Support Fund for Ukrainian Refugees
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam National University Hospital (Director Ahn Young-geun) has stepped up to help refugees caused by the Ukraine-Russia war.
Jeonnam National University Hospital announced on the 3rd that it donated an emergency support fund of 30 million KRW for Ukrainian civilians and damage recovery to the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross on the 1st.
The donation ceremony was attended by Director Ahn Young-geun, Heo Jeong, Chairman of the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross, and about 10 hospital officials, adding luster to the event.
The support fund will be used for humanitarian efforts such as temporary shelters for Ukrainian refugees, relief supplies, medical support, and relief food aid.
