At the ceremony, 875 products worth approximately 23.57 million KRW, which customers purchased from a special planning section within Saiso offering products immediately consumable by disaster victims since the 14th of last month, were donated.
These donated items were collected through the One-for-One donation method, where consumers purchase the same products on Saiso under the buyer’s name and donate them to the disaster victims, accumulating goods worth about 17.885 million KRW. Additionally, farmers registered with Saiso also participated in the donation campaign, contributing 170 items worth approximately 5.68 million KRW.
Including the first batch of goods worth 5.4 million KRW delivered on the 18th of last month, the total value of items delivered to the victims of the Uljin wildfire through this One-for-One donation event at Saiso reached approximately 24.103 million KRW.
Moreover, the Saiso Registered Farmers Council (Chairman Seong Ju-gyeong, Seongpyo Mushroom, Lee Hae-jo), composed of farmers registered with Saiso, also comforted the disaster victims by delivering a donation of 2 million KRW collected from members’ voluntary contributions.
