"Russia's Gazprom Considers Gas Supply Suspension to Europe"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Russian state-owned gas exporter Gazprom is reportedly considering suspending gas supplies to 'unfriendly' countries such as those in Europe, Reuters cited the Russian daily Kommersant on the 31st.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that payments for Russian natural gas sold to countries unfriendly to Russia, including Europe, would only be accepted in rubles.
President Putin also instructed the government, the central bank, and Gazprom to prepare a plan to switch to ruble payments by the 31st.

According to the report, Gazprom is actually reviewing the option of completely stopping gas supplies to unfriendly countries and is evaluating the consequences. Gazprom is known to have declined to comment on the matter.
