Changwon City, Gyeongnam, signed a partnership agreement with Megabox to offer discounted movie theater admission fees in celebration of the launch of its special city status.

To commemorate the first year since its designation as a special city, the city signed the agreement after practical consultations with Megabox to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for citizens and provide a chance to recharge their minds and bodies, which have been exhausted by COVID-19.
Citizens whose registered address is in Changwon can use the general and comfort theaters for 7,000 KRW on both weekdays and weekends.
Discount benefits apply when registering by receiving exclusive discount coupons for Megabox Masan Branch and Changwon Branch on the Megabox website or smartphone app.
When purchasing movie tickets at the cinema, presenting a Megabox membership verification along with an ID that confirms special city citizenship of Changwon is required.
The discount applies to Megabox Masan Branch and Changwon Branch, and the discount period lasts until December 31 of this year.
