During the report, the Human Rights Commission proposed the "Top 10 Human Rights Tasks for the Next Government," which was approved by the plenary committee.
Additionally, the Transition Committee and the Human Rights Commission agreed on the need to strengthen the function of proposing alternatives related to various human rights issues in our society and to enhance capabilities to resolve human rights blind spots and issues concerning vulnerable groups.
The Transition Committee emphasized, "It is necessary to examine whether the multilayered decision-making structure of the Human Rights Commission causes any delays in the protection of citizens' human rights."
Meanwhile, the Transition Committee requested the Human Rights Commission to "pay considerable attention to North Korean human rights issues and the human rights of Saeteomin (North Korean defectors)."
