Through this acquisition, Seven Eleven expects to secure approximately 14,000 stores and achieve comprehensive synergy effects. The company plans to proceed with rapid organizational integration and standardization of operations. Priority will be given to integrating sales and store development organizations and differentiated products, while simultaneously stabilizing the business and enhancing competitiveness through unification, standardization, and advancement of various systems such as logistics, IT, and facilities.
In particular, Seven Eleven will enhance competitiveness by merging Ministop's strengths?spacious and comfortable stores and specialized ready-to-eat food core competencies?with Seven Eleven's next-generation platform (Food Dream). Additionally, after integration, the company aims to maximize synergy effects from the merger by efficiently utilizing a denser nationwide store network and logistics centers to strengthen quick commerce and reduce costs, while collaborating with Lotte Group's distribution affiliates on joint sourcing, integrated marketing, co-developed products, and differentiated service introductions linked to the group's core capabilities.
Leveraging its past experience with two successful mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Seven Eleven will also promote the 'One Team, One Dream' program to stabilize the organization. To facilitate the fusion between Seven Eleven and Ministop members, various programs such as corporate culture integration programs, communication activation systems, integrated training, and meetings will be regularly conducted.
