Gangnam Unnie Selects 15 'Top-Rated Hospitals by Customer Reviews'
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Healing Paper, the operator of the medical beauty information platform Gangnam Unnie, announced on the 28th that it has selected 15 'Top Customer Rated Excellent Hospitals' in the top 2% of reliability based on big data results collected entirely from user evaluations.
The excellent hospitals selected this time were chosen based on the quantitative reliability of Gangnam Unnie users over four months from last October to this January. Gangnam Unnie produced and presented promotional banners indicating the hospital name and certification period, which can be displayed at each plastic surgery and dermatology clinic.
Since last October, Gangnam Unnie has been operating a Customer Rated Excellent Hospital system by big data-izing users' hospital visit experiences. All users who visited cosmetic medical hospitals through the Gangnam Unnie application can participate in a telephone survey to verify whether the app's medical advertisement information matched their actual experience. Hospitals that meet certain criteria receive certification badges on their hospital introduction pages within the app.
The hospital selection criteria are all determined by quantitative data. None of the five survey items can have a 'bad' rating, and at least three items must maintain a 'good' rating. These items include whether the app information matched the actual hospital price information, whether there was no coercion for additional payments, whether there was no pressure to write reviews, whether the waiting time was long, and whether additional services such as operating room CCTV and a safe real-name system were provided.
Gangnam Unnie conducts post-satisfaction telephone surveys for all users who visit cosmetic medical hospitals through the app. In a satisfaction survey conducted last February, one user responded, "I was able to see the data-certified trusted hospital items, which alleviated my anxiety about false medical advertisements and allowed me to experience a highly satisfactory hospital."
Going forward, Gangnam Unnie plans to present certification banners to hospitals that maintain the Customer Rated Excellent Hospital criteria for more than nine months each year.
