Junggi Joonganghoe, Wildfire Victims Livelihood Support Project..."5 Billion KRW Sponsorship for SMEs"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 28th that it will carry out a livelihood support project worth 500 million KRW for victims of the wildfires in Gangwon Province, in collaboration with the SME Love Sharing Foundation.
This project is supported by donations from over 100 cooperatives and SMEs, including Home&Shopping, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Machinery Industry Cooperative, Amos Eins Furniture, and Evezari.
The livelihood support project for the victims plans to provide 250 million KRW each for living expenses and supplies, and food ingredient support. The food ingredient support will be provided twice a month for one year through traditional markets, consisting of basic food items such as cabbage and kimchi, as well as fish, beef, pork, and eight types of side dishes. This aims to deliver hope to the victims while also contributing to the revitalization of traditional markets.
