Gyeongbuk Industry-Academia Convergence Headquarters Selected as Training Support Center for SMEs in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Region
The Only National Center to Achieve S Grade in Performance Evaluation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The Gyeongbuk Industry-Academia Convergence Headquarters has been selected as the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Enterprise Training Support Center for this year’s field-customized systematic training support project, hosted by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
The Daegu-Gyeongbuk SME Training Support Center is operated in consortium with the Gyeongbuk Employers Federation and will provide consulting for vocational skill development and customized on-site training for SMEs over three years until 2024.
The Gyeongbuk Industry-Academia Convergence Headquarters and the Gyeongbuk Employers Federation jointly operated the SME Training Support Center for two years until last year, winning the grand prize in the center category at the excellent case competition and achieving the only S-grade performance evaluation among nationwide centers.
This year, the center plans to focus on AI, big data, IoT, and smart manufacturing-related fields to support software training supply aimed at nurturing specialized personnel and securing technological capabilities for SMEs.
