Gaon Media Changes CEO... "Will Enhance Corporate Value and Sustainability"
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] Gaon Media announced on the 25th through a disclosure of CEO change that Lim Dong-yeon has been appointed as the new CEO.
At the 21st regular general shareholders' meeting held that day, Lim Dong-yeon was newly appointed as an inside director, and on the same day, he was appointed as CEO through a board resolution.
CEO Lim stated, "Since the 'Responsibility Headquarters System' has been successfully established and operated since 2017, we will maximize the advantages of the existing organizational operation while increasing efficiency through innovation across management." He added, "We will accelerate securing new growth engines for Gaon Group to enhance corporate value and sustainability."
He continued, "Former CEO Lim Hwa-seop will step down from the CEO position due to health reasons, but he plans to continue supporting the company’s core competitiveness enhancement and risk management with his experience and know-how in growing Gaon Media into a leading global company."
