GH Donates 50 Million KRW to Gangwon Wildfire Relief Fund via Community Chest of Korea
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) recently donated 5 million won in relief funds to the Community Chest of Korea on the 24th to support the victims of the large-scale wildfires that occurred in the Gyeongbuk and Gangwon regions.
The donated funds will be used to restore the wildfire-affected areas in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Gangneung and Samcheok, Gangwon, which were declared special disaster zones, as well as to provide livelihood support for the displaced residents.
Jeon Hyung-soo, Acting President (Vice President) of GH, said, "We collected the relief funds with the hope of providing even a little help to the victims suffering from the wildfire damage," adding, "We will not hesitate to actively cooperate so that the residents of the affected areas can recover quickly."

GH has been practicing win-win activities beyond the region, including donating relief funds in 2019 to support the restoration of wildfire damage in Goseong and Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
