View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] The police have launched an investigation after multiple reports were received about several vehicles parked in an alley in Incheon being scratched with a sharp tool.
According to the Jungbu Police Station in Incheon on the 22nd, multiple reports were received on the 20th around 6 p.m. about vehicles parked in a residential alley in Sinheung-dong, Jung-gu being damaged.
The owners of the damaged vehicles reportedly told the police, "Someone scratched the vehicles with a sharp tool."
As similar reports continued, the police investigated the damage mainly around Sinheung-dong and confirmed that a total of 29 vehicles were damaged.
Most of the damaged vehicles had scratches on doors or trunks caused by a sharp tool.
After analyzing the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the crime scene, the police identified a woman in her 40s, Ms. A, residing nearby, as a suspect.
