Dunamu Donates 1 Billion KRW for Ukraine Emergency Relief to UN World Food Programme
Dunamu donated 1 billion KRW to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) for emergency relief activities in Ukraine.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Dunamu, the operator of the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, announced on the 22nd that it will donate 1 billion KRW to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to support food aid for Ukrainian residents.
The day before, Dunamu held a donation ceremony with WFP for food aid to Ukrainian residents. Dunamu is the first domestic company to donate to WFP's emergency relief efforts for Ukraine. The 1 billion KRW donation is enough to provide daily meals to more than 1.6 million Ukrainians, including local residents and refugees.
Lee Seok-woo, CEO of Dunamu, stated, "Upon hearing that WFP aims to assist 3.15 million Ukrainians suffering from the conflict, we judged that food aid was urgently needed and decided to donate to WFP, the world's largest humanitarian aid organization capable of arriving on site within 72 hours of an emergency."

WFP plans to provide emergency relief to 3.15 million Ukrainians over the next four months and is currently raising 590 million USD (approximately 720.2 billion KRW) globally for this effort.
