Sono International to Officially Launch 'Sono Winery Tour' Starting Next Month on the 15th
Enjoy Sommelier-Selected Wines at 15 Coastal Walkways and Observation Decks Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Daemyung Sono Group's Sono International will officially operate the 2022 "Sono Winery Tour" with the concept of "A Journey Enjoyed in Nature: Fairy Garden."
Sono International announced on the 22nd that from next month 15th to September 30th, it will offer the Sono Winery Tour at 15 properties nationwide (excluding Sono Calm Yeosu and Sonobel Byeonsan), where guests can taste unlimited continental wines selected by food and beverage experts such as sommeliers.
The Sono Winery Tour is Sono International's signature content where families, friends, and couples can enjoy wine in spaces within the properties harmonized with beautiful natural scenery such as beach promenades, outdoor terraces, and gardens. Two stations, "Classic" and "Modern," operate separately, where guests can share stories over wine and take commemorative photos with the surroundings as the backdrop.
The Sono Winery Tour allows free movement between two stations prepared at each property from 7 PM to 10 PM. However, in case of rain, the venue will be replaced indoors. Minor children visiting together can enter free of charge and are provided with a separate identifiable wristband. Each station is also stocked with lemon water and juice suitable for children and teenagers.
At the Classic and Modern stations, a total of 18 wines are offered, divided into Old World and New World wines, with 9 types per booth. Each booth's 9 wines consist of 5 reds, 2 whites, and 2 sparklings. The Classic Station mainly features European wines from France, Italy, Spain, and others, faithful to tradition and offering deep flavors. Guests can experience the unique originality of the Old World with world-renowned wines such as France's Merlot and Pinot Noir, Italy's Nero d'Avola and Chardonnay, Spain's Trepat, and Portugal's Aragonez.
At the Modern Station, featuring New World wines from the United States, Australia, Argentina, and more, guests can feel a modern personality distinct from Old World products. Wines such as the United States' Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia's Shiraz, Argentina's Malbec, and Chile's Carmenere meet customers. Pairing food cups containing basic menus such as bite-sized ham and cheese, seasonal fruits, and nuts are provided as snacks to accompany the wine. Starting this year, menus reflecting the individuality of each property, such as wood-fired pizza, will also be available as additional options.
