T'way Air Launches 'A330' on Jeju Route... "Operating from Today"
Special Launch Promotion... "Economy Class from 16,600 KRW"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] T'way Air announced that the A330-300 aircraft will be deployed on the Gimpo-Jeju route starting from the 22nd, operating six flights daily.
The airline is running a special promotional fare to commemorate the launch on its website, mobile app, and web until the 31st of this month. However, the number of flights may be adjusted according to future schedules.
For flights operated by the A330-300 on the Gimpo-Jeju route, one-way total fares start from 16,600 KRW for Economy Class and 106,800 KRW for Business Class. The boarding period is from the launch date until June 30. Passengers can check the aircraft type through the information indicated for each flight number when booking tickets.
T'way Air plans to support convenient travel for passengers by expanding seat supply during the spring season, when demand for trips to Jeju Island is especially high. This promotion also features a payback benefit commemorating the operation of the first Business Class by a domestic LCC. Members who book Business Class on the Gimpo-Jeju route during the promotion period, submit their reservation information through the participation page in the event, and complete actual boarding will receive a 20,000 KRW discount coupon applicable to all routes.
In particular, the newly introduced Business Class offers a more comfortable travel experience with a seat pitch of 59 inches (150 cm) and bed-type seats. Adjustable headrests, spacious legroom, power outlets, and reading lights attached to each seat will add to the convenience.
The Economy Class also features a seat pitch of 32 inches (81 cm), USB charging ports, and personal electronic device holders, enabling a convenient travel experience.
T'way Air plans to introduce two additional A330-300 aircraft by May and expand to medium- and long-haul routes such as Singapore, Honolulu, Eastern Europe, and Australia.
