Han Seok-kyu to Appear in Watcha's 'Today Might Be a Bit Spicy'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Han Seok-kyu is heading to an online streaming service (OTT).
On the 22nd, Watcha announced, "Han Seok-kyu will appear in the original series 'One Day It Might Be a Bit Spicy' (directed by Lee Ho-jae), based on the true story by writer Kang Chang-rae and adapted from the book of the same name."
'One Day It Might Be a Bit Spicy,' set to be released on Watcha within the year, is a human drama depicting the kitchen diary of a husband who prepares meals for his wife diagnosed with colon cancer after their divorce. The original work, which compiles the author's notes written while preparing meals for his wife battling cancer, has drawn attention as a sad yet beautiful story.
Han Seok-kyu plays Chang-wook, a translator and humanities lecturer in his late 40s. He portrays a husband who cooks for his wife facing the final stages of colon cancer.
