Ulsan Industrial Artifacts Decorated with 'Yuristicker'... Ulsan Museum Operates 'Our Family's Happy Saturday'
March 22-31: 200 Families Participate in Non-Face-to-Face Exhibition Experience
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan Museum will operate the 33rd "Our Family Happy Saturday" for 200 families with elementary school children from the 22nd to the 31st.
Our Family Happy Saturday is a family education program at Ulsan Museum held on the third Saturday of every month.
In March, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the program will be conducted non-face-to-face. However, participants must visit Ulsan Museum in person to receive educational materials and for the pre-education activity of exhibition viewing.
The education will be conducted under the theme "Decorating Ulsan Industrial Artifacts with Ure Stickers," where participants learn about artifacts related to Ulsan industry and experience making ure stickers shaped like industrial artifacts.
This is linked with the Ulsan Museum's special exhibition commemorating the 60th anniversary of the designation of Ulsan Industrial Center, "60 Years of Ulsan Industry Leading the Republic of Korea," and Industrial History Rooms I and II, allowing participants to learn about the beginning and characteristics of Ulsan industry.
Applications for the education program can be made on-site from the 19th to the 31st at the 1st floor Special Exhibition Room I of Ulsan Museum, where participants can receive the experience materials.
After receiving the experience materials, participants can view the Industrial History Rooms I and II on the 2nd floor and the special exhibition "60 Years of Ulsan Industry Leading the Republic of Korea," then proceed with the experience at home while watching the Ulsan Museum YouTube channel.
An official from Ulsan Museum said, "We hope this special exhibition highlighting the 60 years of Ulsan industry that has led Korea's economic growth and the industrial history exhibition will be an opportunity to understand Ulsan again."
