According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 17th, rain or snow on the 18th will stop in the morning in the metropolitan area including Seoul, Incheon, and southern Gyeonggi, as well as in the central and southern inland areas of Gangwon and the southern regions. However, it is expected to continue until the afternoon in Jeju.
Expected precipitation amounts are 30?80 mm in Jeju (over 100 mm in some areas), 20?60 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, the eastern coast of Gyeongsang, and the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang. Other regions nationwide will receive 10?40 mm.
Expected snowfall amounts are 10?30 cm (over 40 cm in some areas) in Gangwon and the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, and 1?3 cm in the central and southern inland areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, northern inland North Gyeongsang, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo. In regions expected to receive heavy snow, special attention to traffic safety is necessary to prevent slipping accidents when using vehicles.
Morning low temperatures are predicted to range between 3 and 9 degrees Celsius nationwide, with Seoul at 5°C, Daejeon at 6°C, Gwangju at 8°C, Daegu at 6°C, and Busan at 9°C.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to range from 5 to 15 degrees Celsius nationwide, with Seoul and Daejeon at 11°C and Gwangju at 15°C.
Fine dust levels across all regions are expected to be at a 'Good' level.
Winds will blow very strongly at 10?16 m/s across all seas, and waves will be very high, so navigation and fishing vessels should exercise special caution.
