Six Hapyeong County Governor Preliminary Candidates Declare 'Unification'
Decided to Select Joint Candidate Through Debate and Opinion Poll
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Six prospective candidates for the Democratic Party's Hampyeong County Governor (Kim Youngso, Ok Buho, Jung Moonho, Lim Yongsu, Jo Seongcheol, Kim Seongchan) have declared their unification.
They announced this at a press conference held at the Democratic Party Hampyeong Liaison Office on the morning of the same day.
The unification method plans to select a joint candidate nominee according to the will of the county residents through debates and opinion polls.
Five candidates plan to serve as election countermeasure committee chairs for the election of the joint candidate and the development and innovation of Hampyeong.

Preliminary candidate Kim Seongchan, through the jointly announced declaration as a representative, said, "So far, our Hampyeong has experienced conflicts and divisions due to overheated competition during elections," adding, "At this time, when we must gather all our capabilities to overcome the deepening crisis of regional extinction, we have united for the greater cause that politics must not again foster division and conflict."
