Times Square to Open Large Complex Shopping Mall 'Time Terrace' in Dongtan Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Times Square's newly created family-oriented shopping platform, 'Time Terrace,' will open in Dongtan on the 1st of next month.
According to Times Square on the 17th, Time Terrace is a name combining 'Time' from Times Square and 'Terrace,' a trend of rest and healing. It is a newly launched family-centered complex shopping mall reflecting urban lifestyle trends. The name was chosen to align with the regional characteristics of Dongtan, which has many young generations and high family-unit consumption, and to signify providing healing to modern people and offering a shopping experience to enjoy with family.
Time Terrace aims to be a premium community space where visitors can relax. The concept includes 'leisure enjoyed on an outdoor terrace in nature,' 'a picnic-like lunch with family,' and 'precious memories created with loved ones.' It goes beyond a simple shopping space to share daily life with family, enjoy it like a stroll, and make rest and everyday life valuable.
To this end, it offers sensory content under three keywords: 'Newly Blooming,' 'Joyful Healing,' and 'Comfortable Shopping.'
The Atrium, the cultural entertainment plaza of Time Terrace, is a bright and spacious area that makes the interior comfortable, and the open terrace connects directly to the park outside. Additionally, the garden offers the leisure and comfort of enjoying a cup of coffee while relaxing. Especially as a lifestyle-centered shopping mall, visitors can enjoy healing shopping with cutting-edge trends and various cultural spaces.
Time Terrace is located within the Metapolis complex, a high-rise residential-commercial building in the new city of Dongtan, Hwaseong. It spans approximately 142,000 m², with Block A ranging from basement level 5 to ground level 5, and Block B from basement level 4 to ground level 6. It is not only situated in the heart of Dongtan but also directly connected to Central Park, the largest park, ensuring excellent accessibility.
The overall interior concept of the shopping mall is 'Natural, Modern, Simple.' The layout and lighting were designed to be bright and pleasant, allowing visitors to feel the flow of light. In particular, entrances are positioned for direct access from the park, enabling customers to enter comfortably, and the atrium environment and common area circulation paths are efficiently organized.
Time Terrace is largely divided into Block A and Block B. Block A houses CGV on floors 3 to 5 and consists of SPA, men's and women's fashion, casual, sports, outdoor brands, and various F&B brands. Apple, Starbucks, Volt Burger, Ashley Queens, 8Seconds, SPAO, Jexmith, and Resort Lab, a Pilates complex store, are located on basement level 2. Adidas, New Balance, Descente, and The North Face are on the 1st floor, while Giordano, Missha, Polham, Giozia, and Who.A.U are on the 2nd floor. The 3rd and 4th floors feature eight CGV theaters and restaurants such as Outback, Mad for Garlic, and Hanilkwan.
Block B houses Homeplus from basement level 2 to basement level 4 and includes large lifestyle, interior, health & beauty, children's clothing, children's play facilities, a native speaker play school, and various F&B brands. Muji, Modern House, Olive Young, MLB Kids, and New Balance Kids are on the 1st floor; LX Hausys, ABC Mart, Topten Kids, SPAO Kids, E-Land Kids brands, and Artbox are on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor contains medical facilities such as dental, pediatrics, internal medicine, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and Korean medicine clinics.
