IBK Industrial Bank of Korea Donates 200 Million KRW for East Coast Wildfire Recovery Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 17th that it has donated 200 million KRW to support the recovery of communities affected by the large wildfires on the East Coast.
Prior to the sponsorship, the bank proactively provided emergency relief kits to residents in the affected areas on the 4th and dispatched the Sarangui Bapcha (Love Meal Truck) to the disaster sites to offer free meals.
Financial support is also underway. For customers facing difficulties due to the wildfire damage, the bank is offering payment deferrals and plans to expand support to include loan maturity extensions and repayment deferrals. In particular, it will provide emergency livelihood stabilization funds totaling up to 20 billion KRW to individual customers.
