According to Emart24 on the 17th, from the 9th to the 15th, sales of pouch drinks increased by 33%, carbonated drinks by 29%, tube-type ice cream by 27%, sports drinks by 22%, and ice cups by 21% compared to the previous week.
The sales growth rate of refreshing products by commercial district recorded 33% in office areas, 25% in academy districts, 13% in entertainment districts, 12% in residential areas, and 12% in roadside locations. It is interpreted that the increase in foot traffic due to the warm weather led to more customers seeking refreshing products.
Emart24 plans to launch various flavors of pouch drinks in early next month, following the 25 types of pouch drinks currently in operation. This month, a 500 won discount is offered when paying for all pouch drink products with Woori Card.
