Establishment of Comprehensive Plans for Serious Accident Prevention and Dedicated Management of Serious Accident-Related Tasks
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Amid growing social interest in serious accidents recently, Hampyeong-gun is establishing and operating a dedicated organization called the ‘Serious Accident TF Team’ for systematic management of serious accidents.
According to the county on the 16th, to prevent serious accidents and respond promptly, the Serious Accident TF Team, consisting of two members (one team leader and one team member), was newly established in the Safety and Construction Division as of the 14th of this month.
The Serious Accident TF Team was created in response to the Serious Accident Punishment Act, which came into effect on January 27 and stipulates penalties for business owners and others in the event of serious accidents.
The newly established TF Team will be responsible for tasks related to serious accidents, including establishing a comprehensive plan for serious accident prevention, building a safety and health management system, and formulating measures to prevent recurrence.
