At the shareholders' meeting, the agenda items of approval of financial statements and approval of the director remuneration limit were passed.
Samsung SDS recorded sales of 13.63 trillion KRW and an operating profit of 808.1 billion KRW last year, achieving the highest-ever performance with sales increasing by 24% compared to the previous year.
Samsung SDS CEO Hwang Seong-woo emphasized in his greeting at the shareholders' meeting that the company is transforming into a "cloud-specialized company."
CEO Hwang explained that this year, they are strengthening the competitiveness of the MSP (Managed Service Provider) business, which executes end-to-end IT services including consulting, construction, and operation based on industry expertise on the cloud, while also making efforts to secure thousands of cloud experts domestically and internationally, preparing for the future cloud business.
In addition, Samsung SDS announced that it will expand its logistics business centered on the IT new technology-based logistics platform Cello Square. This year, it plans to start global business in China and Southeast Asia.
