Signing of Business Agreement for Technology Transfer, Protection, and Technology Finance Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 16th that it signed a "Business Agreement for Promoting Open Innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises and Supporting Startup Growth" with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency (Director Jin Yang-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Agency). This agreement was established to promote open innovation through the activation of technology transactions among small and medium enterprises in the Busan area and to support startup growth through technology evaluation and technology finance support.
According to the agreement, the Promotion Agency will provide Kibo with technology demand information from excellent small and medium enterprises in the Busan area, and Kibo will match public and private technologies based on this information. In addition, technology evaluation and technology finance for outstanding small and medium enterprises discovered by the Promotion Agency will also be supported. In particular, technology protection measures will be provided for excellent technologies owned by small and medium enterprises that are at risk of technology theft.
