In the weekly women's golf world rankings officially announced on the morning of the 15th (Korean time), she earned 2.53 points, jumping an impressive 22 spots from 55th place last week. She accumulated points by winning in a playoff at the Honda LPGA Thailand (total prize money $1.6 million) held at Siam Country Club in Chonburi near Pattaya, Thailand (par 72, 6,576 yards) which concluded on the 13th. She set a new milestone as the first Danish LPGA Tour champion.
