Fox News Reporter Injured Near Ukraine Capital
[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] A Fox News reporter dispatched for on-site coverage following Russia's invasion of Ukraine was injured near Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and hospitalized.
Susan Scott, CEO of Fox News, announced in an internal memo to staff on the 14th (local time) that Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall, who was covering the Ukraine war, has been hospitalized.
CEO Scott stated, "The situation is developing rapidly, and we are working to confirm additional information," adding, "The safety of all reporters in Ukraine and surrounding areas is our top priority." Fox News did not disclose further details beyond the hospitalization.
Reporter Benjamin Hall joined Fox News in 2015 and was covering the U.S. State Department before being dispatched a few weeks ago to report on the Ukraine war. He has previous reporting experience in conflict zones such as Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Hall's injury occurred just one day after Brent Reno, a former New York Times (NYT) reporter and documentary filmmaker, was shot and killed while reporting in Irpin, on the outskirts of Ukraine.
