According to the Prime Minister's Office on the 14th, Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum reported to President Moon Jae-in at the Blue House, stating, "We will finalize the damage recovery plan by early April through a central joint investigation."
Prime Minister Kim emphasized, "Considering the situation during the 2019 East Coast forest fires, we will review maximum government support," adding, "Since this forest fire caused the largest-ever forest damage and displaced about 270 households, we will do our best in damage recovery and measures for the displaced."
He also mentioned, "We will thoroughly evaluate the firefighting process of this forest fire and significantly improve the large-scale forest fire response system, including expanding equipment such as large helicopters and strengthening nighttime firefighting capabilities."
