Imsil-gun Conducts County Administration Briefing and New Year Practical Education for Farmers
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 14th that it will hold a county administration briefing session presenting the 2022 county administration goals and vision for ‘Hope Imsil opened together with the residents’ from the 14th to the 18th.
Starting with Imsil-eup and Gangjin-myeon on the same day, the county will hold the briefing sessions for six days, providing an opportunity to communicate with residents alongside the New Year Farmers Practical Education.
This briefing session, held for the first time in three years due to the impact of COVID-19, is being promoted to actively respond to rapidly changing administrative demands and to operate county administration efficiently. It will be conducted under thorough quarantine guidelines along with the easing of government quarantine measures.
The session will share major projects and achievements that have led Imsil-gun so far, the current budget status for this year, key projects to be promoted, and the direction of county administration, while also presenting a new vision for Imsil.
Additionally, it will report on major projects underway by each eup and myeon and the status of handling residents’ suggestions, aiming to resolve residents’ questions.
In particular, various visions will be presented to further develop projects such as the creation of the Seomjingang Okjeongho premium ecological tourism site following the lifting of the Okjeongho water source protection zone, a long-standing wish of the county, the promotion of Imsil N Cheese as a food and tourism attraction, fostering a hub for the pet industry, and the development of Seongsusan Ecological Forest tourism.
Through this county administration briefing session, the county plans to present various visions to deepen and develop key pending projects, while enhancing trust in the county administration by carefully and actively managing county affairs through communication with residents, which had been cut off due to COVID-19.
A county official said, “We have firmly established the foundation for a great leap forward by opening an era of a 500 billion won budget for three consecutive years,” adding, “Thanks to continuous challenges and efforts hand in hand with the residents, we have achieved remarkable results and secured the driving force to design a hopeful future for Imsil.”
He continued, “In the midst of the spread of COVID-19, we will boldly and decisively carry out measures to protect the lives and health of residents, such as the first county-wide self-diagnosis kit preemptive response and mask administration in the province,” and added, “This year, we will faithfully carry out stable and reliable county administration so that all residents can regain their smiles and live peacefully.”
