Sejong City to Raise Special Donations to Help 'Sanbul 피해민' Until the End of This Month
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 14th that it will raise special donations to help wildfire victims in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon, until the end of this month.
About 2,500 city officials working at the city hall (including the council), affiliated agencies, branch offices, and business offices will participate in the fundraising.
The city plans to deliver the donations to the Sejong Community Chest of Korea after the fundraising.
The Central Community Chest of Korea will collect the raised funds and cooperate with the Gyeongbuk and Gangwon branches, relevant local governments, and related organizations to support the wildfire victims.
Civilians who wish to participate in the fundraising can also contribute through the Sejong branch of the Community Chest of Korea.
