GIST Technology Management Academy Holds Entrance Ceremony and Development Fund Donation Ceremony
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The GIST Technology Management Academy announced on the 11th that it held the 12th entrance ceremony at Oryong Hall.
The event was attended by key GIST officials including Park Rae-gil, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Kim Young-jip, Vice President for External Affairs, and 46 new students.
In his welcome speech, Vice President Park said, “I sincerely congratulate the admission to the GIST Technology Management Academy, which is leading the growth of our region and whose prestige is increasing day by day as a prestigious academy,” adding, “I hope you will develop groundbreaking growth capabilities by actively responding to rapidly changing global technological changes and internationalization paradigms through GIST’s differentiated programs.”
A donation ceremony for 10 million won in development funds from alumnus and CEO Choi Young-hee of KOS was also held. The donated funds will be used as development funds for the GIST Technology Management Academy.
KOS is a pipe welding and processing specialized company established in Jangseong, Jeonnam, and has been selected as a technology-innovative company and a global small giant company by the Small and Medium Business Administration.
